How to import a custom pay run file (GBP & International)

How to import custom CSV and TXT files into Telleroo to create pay runs

With Telleroo, you can import custom pay run files using our CSV and TXT templates.


How to upload GBP payment files

Firstly, make sure you are a Creator in Telleroo, more on User Roles here.

Click New pay run.

Select the type of payment you'd like to make from the Payment type dropdown.

If you don't already have the template you need, you can click Download template which will open the Telleroo Help Centre with links to CSV and TXT templates.

Click Upload payment file.

You will then be prompted to select a file from your computer. Select the CSV or TXT file you'd like to import.

Telleroo will then create the pay run. Review the payments, then click Configure pay run.

Optionally, you can rename the pay run using Pay run name.

Optionally, you can enter Notes for this pay run which is visible to Approvers.

Select whether you'd like the pay run to be sent for Immediate processing after it's been approved, or Later for a specific date in the future. If you select Later, enter the date and time you'd like the pay run to send at.

Click Submit pay run. Your pay run will now be created in Telleroo, and Approvers will receive an email to approve this pay run.


How to upload international payment files

Firstly, make sure you are a Creator in Telleroo, more on User Roles here.

Click New pay run.

Select the type of payment you'd like to make from the Payment type dropdown.

If you don't already have the template you need, you can click Download template which will open the Telleroo Help Centre with links to CSV and TXT templates.

Click Upload payment file.

You will then be prompted to select a file from your computer. Select the CSV or TXT file you'd like to import.

Telleroo will then create the pay run. Review the payments, then click Configure pay run.

Optionally, you can rename the pay run using Pay run name.

Optionally, you can enter Notes for this pay run which is visible to Approvers.

You'll see Scheduled for is set to Immediate processing. International payments cannot be scheduled for a future date, they are sent immediately upon approval. When you create a pay run, the price is locked for 20 minutes. If you don't approve and send it within that time, the cost will continue to update in real-time for accuracy.

Click Submit pay run. Your pay run will now be created in Telleroo, and Approvers will receive an email to approve this pay run.
