How to create a single GBP payment

Make a single payment in Telleroo without a file import.

Telleroo’s single payment feature is perfect for a HMRC payment, refund to your main bank account, or any other payment you need. You do not need a file import to send a single payment.

How to make a single payment

Firstly, make sure you are a Creator in Telleroo, more on User Roles here.

To create a single GBP payment, click New pay run.

Select the type of payment you'd like to make from the Payment type dropdown.

Click Enter single payment.

You will see a list of recipients you have previously paid, you can click Send to payee to create another payment to that recipient. You can also search for a recipient by name. To send a payment to someone new, click New recipient.

Enter the Amount you would like to send. Enter the Payment reference.

By default, Telleroo selects that you're sending GBP to an account Inside UK. If you'd like to send GBP internationally, select Outside UK.

For new recipients, enter the Full name of the account holder, UK sort code and Account number.

Click Submit payment.

Review the payment details you've entered, then click Configure pay run.

Optionally, you can rename the payment using Pay run name.

Optionally, you can enter Notes for this payment which is visible to Approvers.

Select whether you'd like the payment to be sent for Immediate processing after it's been approved, or Later for a specific date in the future. If you select Later, enter the date and time you'd like the payment to send at.

Click Submit pay run. Your single payment will now be created in Telleroo, and Approvers will receive an email to approve this payment.
