If you purchase a new phone, you'll need to transfer your 2 Factor Authentication codes. This will ensure you can login smoothly to Telleroo.

The steps you need to take will vary depending on which authenticator you use. In this article, we show you how to transfer authentication codes when you use Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Authy.

If you have any questions or get stuck, please reach out to support via the chat bubble at the bottom right of your screen.

Sadly, criminals pretending to be your payment provider (or bank) is a common scam. We'll never ask you for your Telleroo password, or 2 Factor Authentication code. Reach out to support if you have any questions.

    • Tap Next. If you transfer more than one account, your old phone may create more than one QR code.

  • On your new phone, tap Scan QR code.

    • In the Authenticator app, tap Menu, then Transfer accounts, then Import accounts.

    • Scan the QR code(s) created on the old phone.

After you scan your QR code(s), you’ll get confirmation that your Authenticator codes have been transferred.

  • Open Microsoft Authenticator on your old phone. Tap the three vertical dots at the top right of the app, and then select Settings.

  • Within the section Backup, you'll either see Cloud Backup if you have an Android phone, or iCloud Backup on an iPhone. Turn the toggle on.

  • Please note that some accounts will ask you to revalidate, to confirm it is you. by signing in to those accounts or scanning a QR code. Microsoft Authenticator will display a message if you need to do this.

  • Once done test all your accounts are present then go ahead and remove from your old phone.

  • Open the Authy app on your old phone. Tap on Settings (the gear icon at top right).

  • Tap Devices.

  • Turn on Allow Multi-device.

  • Now, on your new phone, install Authy.

  • Once installed, open the Authy app. When prompted, enter the phone number of your old phone.

  • A popup will appear reading Get Account Verification Via. Tap Use Existing Device.
